Winter Parking Enforcement Delayed Until Dec. 1

Pleasant weather leads to delay

November 21, 2017 - 5:13 pm

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced that the winter parking regulation for bus routes will be pushed back to December 1 because of the pleasant weather.

"This is good for businesses in the city," Brown said. "This is good for residences. As you know, in some of our neighborhoods we don't have a lot of off street parking. So having the ability to park at a bus route is certainly very helpful and very convenient for a lot of our residents."

Parking restrictions in residential neighborhoods will still be enforced.

Mayor Brown also announced that metered parking will be free on Black Friday, November 24.
