BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Coca-Cola Field is expected to be filled with 70,000 people over the the course of two days this weekend for the National Buffalo Wing Festival.

With visitors coming from all over the world President of Visit Buffalo Niagara Patrick Kaler says its a great time to show off what Western New York has to offer.

"It's great that we have the recognition not only to get Buffalo on the map, but on menus across the world," Kaler said.

Including visitors from different countries. They have two vendors from outside the U.S. including newcomer Sticky Wings of London, England. Darul Rahman is the owner.

"We're known as the best in the U.K. and even though they have wing fest in London, that really doesn't interest me," Rahman said. "Because I want to be the best, and the best is in Buffalo."

Chong Ling came all the way from the Netherlands for the fest. He is a big fan of Sticky Wings.

"I've been to the restaurant loads of times and it's good to be here to see what it is like," Ling said.

Founder of the Fest and Wing King Drew Cerza says they love their tradition of inviting international guests to show off their unique flavors and different approaches to making a chicken wing.

"It shows how much wings have taken off across the world," Cerza said. "It's awesome."

Kaler says they've been preparing for months for the tourists who will hit the area with the number one thing in mind.

"Making sure that everyone that comes to town for the festival has a fantastic experience in Buffalo," Kaler said.
