The nomination window for the 14th Annual Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards is coming to a close.  Small, medium and large-sized companies are eligible.  Those nominations can be made at BNBEA.org.  The singular mission of the Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards is to foster, promote and recognize ethical business practices throughout the Western New York community.  Submissions are due by October 25th.

Garwood Medical Devices has been granted a “Breakthrough Devices” designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the company’s BioPrax™ device.  BioPrax is being developed to help eliminate biofilm infections on prosthetic knee implants during early intervention procedures, while also maintaining the current standard of care.

ACP Technologies, Inc., a leader in providing IT solutions for business, celebrates its new location at 1090-A Union Road in West Seneca with a Client Appreciation Open House tomorrow from 4:30 to 7:30pm.

Buffalo General Medical Center's bariatric surgical center has once again been re-accredited as a Comprehensive Center under the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
