Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is working with the Department of Defense, Inova Health System, the Mayo Clinic, and MD Anderson on developing an ovarian cancer detection test.  The initiative  hinges on recent discoveries about the origins of ovarian cancers.  The initial phase of work is funded by a $544,360 grant from the DoD.

Smooth Solutions is celebrating 14 years in business.  Dr. Jack Bertolino and his professional staff have been helping women and men reduce the effects of aging. A new sleep center has opened in Orchard Park.  Sleep Insights is located at 3775 Southwestern Boulevard.  Sleep Insights has other offices in north Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Springville.

Earlier this week, The Niagara Global Tourism Institute had a ribbon-cutting for TReC, a new co-working incubation space. TReC has a unique tourism-technology focus.  It's located at 616 Niagara St. at 7th Street in Niagara Falls.
