Amherst-based startup company Vader Systems has sold two of its 3-D printers.  Business First reports the $525,000 machines were purchased by a company that builds components for the automotive industry, and it will place the units at production facilities in Michigan and Germany. 

A bi-annual report by Leapfrog Group gives an "A" grade to Kenmore Mercy Hospital and Sisters of Charity Hospital.  Leapfrog rates hospitals twice a year based on reports regarding medical error, infections and injuries.

The law firm of Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria LLP has been named to U.S.News/Best Lawyers Best Law Firms 2018 Metropolitan Ranking for twenty different areas of practice. 

Lewiston Porter High School's Academy of International Business and Finance will be hosting a blender tonight at the Niagara Falls Country Club at 6pm. The guest speaker will be executive director of 43 North, Mr John Gavigan.  Tickets are $15 at the door.
