Heart to Heart Relay Spots Open For Buffalo Marathon

Presbyterian Senior Care of Western New York has announced that its communities, programs and properties will become part of Beechwood Continuing Care.  The agreement takes in Ken-Ton Presbyterian Village, Kenmore; Presbyterian Village at North Church, Williamsville; Lockport Presbyterian Home, Lockport and the enriched housing program at Ken-Ton Presbyterian Village.  No financial terms were made public.

Storming Crab restaurant holds its ribbon-cutting and grand opening today at 11am at 4125 Maple Road in Amherst - site of the former Joe's Crab Shack.  The Cajun seafood restaurant features made-to-order seafood that is boiled with potatoes, corn on the cob and sausage in different flavors at all heat levels.

There is still space available for participants in Kaleida Health’s Heart to Heart Relay, presented by the Buffalo Marathon.  The event coincides with the Marathon Sunday, May 26th.  Proceeds raised from all relay teams will benefit the best-in-class cardiac programs at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute and help fight heart disease in Western New York.  For registration and more information, you can follow this link.

Excelsior Orthopaedics has announced that Alanna Pokorski has been named director of physical and occupational therapy, and Josette Fisher is transitioning to the role of director of sports medicine and wellness.
