Taste NY Farm Markets will emerge at New York State Thruway service areas for the 2019 season beginning Monday, April 1st.  The Taste NY Farm Markets promote the world-class food and beverage products found around the State.  In 2018, 12 local producers from regions across New York State participated in the markets at 20 service areas.

A ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration will be held at 430pm today at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Buffalo-Amherst.  It's located at 145 Innkeepers Lane, off Niagara Falls Boulevard north of the 290. 

R. A. Mercer & Co., P.C. has hired Eric W. Kwietniewski as a staff accountant.

Hilbert College has received six grants totaling $425,000 for the creation of a new science laboratory.  Construction on the new lab is scheduled to begin in May with completion in time for the Fall 2019 semester. 

The 15th annual Taste of Education returns to Salvatore’s Italian Gardens tonight from 6-9pm.  This friendly culinary competition featuring local high school students pursuing a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry is sponsored by the WNY Chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association.
