Deep South Leaving Transit Rd.

The Transit Road location of Deep South Taco has closed.  Not impacted are the locations at Hertel Avenue and Ellicott Street.  Owner Richard Hamilton telling Business First that he's still looking for a southtowns spot for a third restaurant.

Cash Auctions has been retained to auction off items from the former Cecilia’s Ristorante.  Business First notes the restaurant closed earlier this year.  Up for sale are kitchen materials, bar stools, seats, tables and more.  The auction will begin at 10am December 17th at 716 Elmwood Avenue.

Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. will have a grand opening on December 20th.  It's located at Broadway and Ellicott Street, across from the downtown Buffalo & Erie County Public Library.

Bison Automotive and WNY Auto Care Centers are donating 200 Bicycles to the Boys and Girls Clubs in Western New York as part of their “Bikes for Tykes” program.  The Bicycles will be presented to the Boys and Girls Club Wednesday December 18th.  The Boys and Girls Clubs will then distribute the bikes to deserving children and teenagers across the Western New York area this holiday season.
