In real estate news, The Hamburg Village Plaza is for sale.  According to Business First, the 32,087-square-foot plaza, located at 5470 Camp Road, is listed at an asking price of $2.8 million.  In the Village of Kenmore, the Jake Tavern & Grill at 3022 Delaware Avenue is for sale - listed at $449,000.

Tomorrow at 9am, Goodwill opens the doors at its new location at 8050 Main Street in Williamsville. That's in the Clarence Plaza, next to Office Depot.

Amherst Central School District holds a substitute recruitment job fair next Tuesday, August 13th to hire instructional, teaching assistant, aides, food service and nurse substitutes.  The job fair will be held at Windermere Boulevard Elementary School.  All candidates must apply online prior to Aug. 9 though WNY School Application System (WNYRIC), which can be accessed through the Amherst CSD employment opportunities webpage at the Departments/Human Resources tab, or through the direct link, www.amherstschools.org/employment.

Batavia Downs Gaming and Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation has made a community development contribution to Niagara County.  The contribution of $178,818 brings the total from Western Regional OTB to $20.3 million for Niagara County since its inception.
