As we exit the Labor Day weekend, we're continuing to see gas prices fall.  The AAA reports the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded in Western New York is down to $2.74.  That's down two cents from the price a week ago.

The developer responsible for creating Buffalo RiverWorks is at it again.  Douglas Swift, through his Spoton Legacy LLC affiliate, has paid $3.5 million for the George W. Burnett Trucking Co. property at 189 Ganson Street.  Business First notes Swift and partners will be developing a sports and entertainment complex at that site.

Also in Business First, businessman Ronald Lucchino has added to his holdings along Elmwood Avenue.  Lucchino purchased the building that houses the Nine29 restaurant for $1.2 million.  he also ready owns several other buildings in the block between West Delavan Avenue and Chapin Parkway.

The Ellicottville Living Tour will be spotlighting ten unique resort-style living spaces on Saturday, September 14th starting at 9am.  The free tour originates at The Tamarack Club at Holiday Valley where tour goers can either drive to each location or catch a free shuttle that goes to all locations.  There's more information at EllicottvilleLIVINGTour.com.
