Bank of America is making some changes to local branches.  According to Business First, Bank of America will be closing its branch at 1012 Payne Ave. in North Tonawanda as of July of next year.  Accounts from that site will be transferred to either 1263 North Military Road in Niagara Falls or the Delaware Sheridan office at 3588 Delaware Avenue in Tonawanda.  Those two sites will be upgraded.

Also from Business first - Via Seneca LLC - headed by John DiTondo of the Rochester suburb of Churchville - has purchased the DiTondo's restaurant at 370 Seneca Street in Buffalo for a reported $375,000.  Former owners Al and Rosemary Rohloff had operated the restaurant for 35 years before deciding to close it last October.  The new owner plans to re-open the restaurant later this year serving Italian cuisine.   

Tara Handforth has been promoted to commercial banking market executive for Upstate New York and Eastern Canada.  She had been in charge of Wells Fargo & Co.'s commercial banking division from Buffalo to Utica.  Her territory now includes Toronto and Montreal.

AAA of Western and Central New York is holding a job fair today from 3-6pm at 100 International Drive in Amherst.  Positions available include Roadside Assistance Drivers and Customer Service  Representatives.  Applicants unable to attend are encouraged to apply on line at www.AAA.com/Careers
