VNA of WNY Unveiling New HQ

This afternoon at 3pm, the Visiting Nursing Association of WNY will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new Erie County headquarters, 650 Airborne Parkway in Cheektowaga.

The Western New York Impact Investment Fund has invested $500,000 in Garwood Medical Devices, LLC.  Buffalo-based Garwood Medical Devices uses groundbreaking technologies to create and bring to market medical devices that reduce infection and promote wound healing after joint replacement surgery.

FeedMore WNY will be expanding its home-delivered meal services to include the geography currently covered by Lockport Meals on Wheels.  That takes effect October 28th.  Those already served by Lockport Meals on Wheels do not have to re-enroll.

Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls will host three hiring events this month as the shopping center prepares to fill seasonal and permanent positions at mall retailers and the soon-to-be open Mercado Place Food Hall.  The first job fair will take place on Wednesday, October 16th from 4-6pm at the Saks OFF 5th Court (near entrance 6).  There are more than 100 positions available.  Dates for the other two job fairs are Saturday and Sunday, October 19th and 20th.
