UB Company Gets Funding Award

UB spin-off company Neurovascular Diagnostics has been awarded $750,000 in Phase II Small Business Innovation Research funding from the National Science Foundation.   The company is developing a low-cost blood test to screen high-risk patients for unruptured brain aneurysms.

Our Lady of Victory Organizations has undergone a re-branding.  There are now three separate entities: OLV Charities is the charitable and support services partner securing financial support for its sister agencies.  OLV Human Services is a leading provider of mental and behavioral health in Western New York.  Its approximately 1,000 employees provide programs and services for over 4,200 children, teens, seniors and families.  The OLV National Shrine & Basilica is approaching the centennial anniversary of its construction, which was completed in 1925.  

Tops Friendly Markets has promoted Bryan Ruda to store manager for its Boston, NY location.

American Medical Response in Buffalo receives an AMBY Award today at the American Ambulance Association’s Annual Conference and Trade Show Awards Reception in Nashville.  AMR will receive an AMBY in the Employee Programs category.
