Happy 100th!

Perry's Ice Cream celebrates 100 years in business today.  Since its founding on November 13th, 1918 the company has grown to 375 employees.  Perry's reached $100 million in revenue the past two years.  As the #1 ice cream brand in Upstate New York, Perry's cranks out more than 12 million gallons of ice cream each year - represented by more than 500 different products.

Erie County Medical Center Corporation will begin construction on the new main hospital entrance this morning.  Buffalo restaurateur and philanthropist Russell J. Salvatore generously donated $1 million to the hospital’s capital campaign.

A pair of locally owned, women-run businesses will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony today.  Owners of Salon Avanti and Bellamore Boutique invite community and media members to join them at 3086 Delaware Avenue in Kenmore from 5-7pm.

Evergreen Health holds a ribbon cutting for its new facility at 320 Prather Avenue in Jamestown tomorrow.
