Aquarium of Niagara Announces Opening Plans

As part of Phase 4 of New York's re-opening plan, the Aquarium of Niagara will officially open to the general public on Saturday, July 4th.  It will operate on summer hours from 9am to 9pm.  The Aquarium will reopen at 25% capacity for both staff and visitors.  In order to track and limit visitor traffic, the Aquarium is using a timed ticketing system and strongly encourages guests to purchase general admission passes online ahead of their visit.

Buffalo-based New Wave Energy Corp. has been selected as the energy partner for the Cleveland Indians.  The company will provide natural gas for both Progressive Field and the Indians Executive Front Offices.

First announced on March 18th, Modern Disposal Services has closed on its acquisition of of the Western New York operations of Phoenix-based Republic Services.  No terms of that agreement have been released.

Stacey McConnell has been promoted to Vice President of Insurance for AAA Members Insurance Agency of Western and Central New York.

Stephen H. Kolison Jr. has been named the new president of SUNY at Fredonia.
