TMP Technologies Inc. is planning to move into a portion of the former Bethlehem Steel site in Lackawanna.  According to Business First, TMP has agreed to purchase two parcels in the site along Rte 5 in order to build a 280,000-square-foot plant that will employ approximately 130 people, including 30 new hires.  TMP is relocating from Dingens Street but keeping its Northland Avenue administrative headquarters in Buffalo.

Construction is almost complete at the new Goodwill of Western New York retail store and donation center in Clarence.  The building is going up in the Clarence Plaza at 8050 Main Street, next to Office Depot.  The grand opening for the new Clarence location is slated for early August.

A grand re-opening will be held for the Peace Bridge Duty Free store tomorrow from 6-9pm.

Majors Annette and John Lock will become the new officers for The Salvation Army of Buffalo.  This new officer duo replaces Majors Steven and Valerie Lopes who have been appointed to a new assignment in The Salvation Army’s Greater New York Division.
