Amazon Abandons Grand Island Plan

Prior to last night's Grand Island Town Board meeting that was going to continue discussing the proposed Amazon regional distribution center, developer Trammell Crow Co. pulled the project from the agenda at Amazon's request.  There had been significant push back by residents to the center.  Business First reporting Amazon will now consider sites in Niagara and Genesee counties over the next few days.
