Buffalo will be getting at least one Chick-Fil-A restaurant - and likely more.  Business First notes the  fast-food chain best known for its spicy chicken sandwiches and waffle fries will be opening locations in this market - as well as Rochester, Plattsburgh and Syracuse.  The very first Chick-Fil-A is targeted for a parcel on Walden Avenue near the Walden Galleria.  Other sites under consideration include Transit Road along the Amherst/Clarence border and Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst.

A new headquarters lay-out is being worked on by the Army Corps of Engineers at its Niagara Street campus.  According to federal documents, the corps will be issuing requests for proposals this fall for the demolition of three buildings.  Business First pegs the potential development price tag between $10 million and $25 million.
