Sound Wellness LLC, a subsidiary of Jushi Inc., has received approval of its industrial hemp-CBD processor license application as part of the New York State Industrial Hemp Agricultural Research program.  By investing over $5 million in a high-tech hemp processing operation on the east side of Buffalo, Jushi expects to create approximately 30-65 jobs in the area.  The facility will house a state-of-the-art lab, allowing Sound Wellness to create advanced product formulations using CBD distillate, CBD isolate, and water-soluble CBD. 

KeyCorp has been named one of the world’s most sustainable companies by research firm Corporate Knights.  KeyCorp is ranked #51 on the Global 100 list -and is one of only four U.S. based banks to make the list this year. 

Erie County Medical Center Corporation announced it has received over $10.2 million in private funding for the hospital’s future Trauma Center and Emergency Department.  The fundraising goal of the campaign is $15 million.

Tom Greico has been appointed as Director of Operations at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital.
