Gene Simmons - Pop Star?

KISS front man Gene Simmons will have a busy day Wednesday.  Prior to his band's appearance tomorrow night at KeyBank Center, he will be meeting with business partner Paul Janik Jr.  As Business First reports, Simmons and Janik have a joint venture with Niagara Falls-based Johnny Ryan Bottling Co. to produce Simmons’ line of MoneyBag soft drinks.  The beverages are sold locally at Tops and Wegmans.

Law firm Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP has added six Albany attorneys.  According to Business First, the firm now has 23 attorneys in Albany and approximately 110 across its eight-city network.

The McGuire Group hosts a New Year New Career job fair for licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants today.  It runs from 1-4pm at 455 Cayuga Road - Suite 200.  Human resource directors from the five locations operated by the McGuire Group will be on hand to conduct on the spot interviews.

Buffalo Niagara Film Commission Executive Director Tim Clark has been named Board Chairman of The Association of Film Commissioners International.
