New Plans For Elmwood Properties

Among items coming before the next Buffalo Planning Board meeting on December 16th - a proposal from The Whitesand Family L.P.  Business First reporting the group wants to tear down three buildings on Elmwood near Potomac in order to build a four-story, 38,000-square-foot building with 26 apartments and three street level retail or restaurant spots.  The $7.5 million, privately-financed project would also have 26 indoor parking spaces.  Whitesand also acquired the now-closed Bullfeather’s restaurant with plans to reopen it.

Launch NY is in the market for a new Director of Operations.  Ideally, that person would lead operational planning, handle finance and grants administration - and also deal with product development, human resources administration, information technology efforts - and in addition have oversight of Launch NY’s signature Entrepreneur-in-Residence program.  For more information, follow this link.

For a limited time, the Erie County Agricultural Society is offering 12-day gate admission passes to the 181st Erie County Fair for $35.  Passes allow for one gate admission per day of the Fair and do not include parking.  These passes may be purchased online at www.ECFair.org or by visiting the Fairgrounds Main Office located in the Lower Grandstand, Monday-Friday from 9am-4:30pm.
