Labatt Brewing Sabres' Anniversary Beer

Labatt Brew House is set to release a new special-edition beer for the Buffalo Sabres’ 50th anniversary.  Called Labatt Blue and Gold Ale, the golden ale will be available in a limited quantity.  It will be released this Saturday, August 17th at the Sabres fan fest - and then on tap at the Labatt Brew House and The Draft Room.

New York State's Department of Financial Services has approved Bank of Akron's proposal to open a full-service branch in Niagara County.  According to Business First, the branch at 638 Lake Street in Wilson is set to open this fall.

57 Phillips Lytle attorneys were named to the 2019 Upstate New York Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists.  Other local firms were well represented: Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP reports 32 of the firm’s Buffalo and Albany attorneys have been included on those lists.  34 attorneys from Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria made those lists.

Catholic Charities of Buffalo has achieved its third consecutive national reaccreditation through the New York-based Council on Accreditation, an independent, non-profit accreditor of community-based behavioral health care and social service organizations.
