The U.S. Department of Defense has given a four-year, $6.42 million Breakthrough Award to a team from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. That will fund a clinical trial in patients with brain-metastatic breast cancer. The phase II trial, slated to open in 2020, would be the first clinical study to assess the effectiveness of a three-pronged strategy combining distinct immunotherapy approaches.
People Inc. has announced an expansion plan to relocate its Elmwood Health Center. People Inc. has bought a parcel of land at the corner of Elmwood and Hertel Avenues. The new Elmwood Health Center anticipates an early 2021 opening.
