WellNow Urgent Care has opened its thirteenth Western New York location.  It's at 1956 Ridge Road in West Seneca.  WellNow Urgent Care plans to open two more area locations before year's end - in Amherst and Dunkirk.

Lombardo Funeral Homes has been bought by Houston-based Carriage Services Inc.  Business First reports the purchase price was $15.3 million in cash.  Lombardo has four Western New York locations: two in Amherst and one each in Buffalo and Orchard Park.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York has received a $10,000  grant from Rich Products.  The grant funded the refresh of the kitchen at the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House on West Ferry Street.

M&T Bank and Amazon Web Services are hosting an event for small business owners called "Level Up!."  The one-day, no-cost conference will include presentations by local business experts focused on helping small business owners take their business to the next level.  It will be at 500 Pearl Street on Thursday, November 14th from 8am-3pm.  Those interested should register as soon as possible at www.levelupbuffalo.splashthat.com
