The Original Pizza Logs brand is branching out.  Business First reports they've rolled out a line of Original Apple Pie Logs at sporting venues like Coca Cola Field to great success.  The plan now is to get the product to retail consumers at local supermarkets this summer.
A 3pm Friday ribbon cutting is planned for Maplewood Estates at 4591 Southwestern Boulevard in Hamburg.  At about 4pm Friday, there will be a ribbon cutting for Lodgical Country Store in their new location in Staub Square located at 1 Buffalo St. in the Village of Hamburg.

Evergreen Health and the UB Department of Medicine – HIV and Infectious Diseases are participating in a multicenter clinical trial investigating the safety and efficacy of a regimen to treat HIV that is administered in monthly injections.  The first investigational long-acting injections are scheduled during May.  The injections will be administered at Evergreen Health. 

The new home of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo has won an Excelsior Award for public architecture in the category of New Construction from the American Institute of Architects New York State.

Tops Friendly Markets has hired Martin Lee as its new warehouse supervisor.
