Delaware North Places Much of Workforce On Leave

Delaware North has decided to place more than two-thirds of the company’s 3,100 full-time employees on temporary leave.  Full-time employees will continue to receive their medical, dental and vision benefits for eight weeks and a full week of pay for the first week on leave.

Pegula Sports & Entertainment, in partnership with the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres foundations, will provide at least $1.2 million in direct community aid to Western New York residents in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Those funds will go to the newly formed Western New York COVID-19 Community Response Fund and FeedMore WNY, with some also going to areas of most pressing need, including support for first responders, hospital workers, nurses, and protective- and medical-equipment supplies.

NYSEG parent company Avangrid - along with its Avangrid Foundation - is allocating $2 million toward to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.  $1 million in corporate funds will be distributed across its service territories to support emergency needs in communities at the state and local level.  The other half of that is going to partners nationwide providing emergency response and community support during the pandemic.

Univera Healthcare has created a micro-site with general COVID-19 information for all audiences - including individuals, health care providers, and employers.  You can find that link here.
