Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will be open as of 10am today.  Seneca Gaming Corporation noting that daily hours of operation will be from 10am-2am daily.  The casino will open with strict protocols in place to protect the health and safety of guests and team members.

With the re-opening of Buffalo area offices in KenTon and Clarence, all of the region's AAA Travel & Insurance Centers are now open for business.  There are new social distancing and safety guidelines posted for visitors.

AAA forecasts Americans will take 700 million trips based on economic indicators and state re-openings. That number is down nearly 15% compared to last July through September and is the first decline in summer travel since 2009.  The AAA projecting as part of the slide, car trips will see the smallest decrease in travel volume, at just 3% year-over-year.  Air travel will be off by about 74%, while rail, cruise ship and bus travel will slide by 86%.

A multidisciplinary team of experts from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has earned a prestigious $5.2 million “R01” grant from the National Cancer Institute for an investigation into clues that immune cells may hold about breast cancer disparities between Black women and white women. This competitive grant is one of several multimillion-dollar grants Roswell Park researchers have earned for work to address the disproportionate burden of cancer among Black Americans.
