WellNow Urgent Care has opened its latest facility at 3450 Union Road in Cheektowaga.  The new facility is the first to offer patients extended hours of operation, treating patients seven days a week from 8am to midnight, with no appointment needed.

Occustar WNY has changed its name to Occustar Workplace Compliance.  The company provides on-site medical examinations for firefighters and first responders.  It also specializes in DOT and OSHA exams, as well as full in-clinic services at its new office at 4267 Transit Road in Williamsville.

The VA Western New York Healthcare System is partnering with UBMD Neurosurgery to add a service line for elective spine procedures, with staffing by UB surgeons and administrative support from the VA.  Business First reports the VA is in the preliminary stages of expanding the program, with a goal of having it up and running by 2020.

Rise Fitness Studio will host a ribbon cutting this Friday at 1130am.  The business is at 97 Main Street in the Village of Hamburg.
