Univera Notes COVID-19 Response Spending

Univera Healthcare and its Rochester-based parent health plan expect to spend at least $162 million this year on a comprehensive response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The unbudgeted spending, funded through the health plan’s reserves, includes grants for testing supplies and personal protective equipment to upstate New York hospitals and health care workers, and increased reimbursements to physicians and other health care providers for telehealth services.  The nonprofit health insurer has 1.5 million members across 39 counties of upstate New York.

Rosanna Berardi, founder and managing partner of Berardi Immigration Law, has announced the launch of High Wire Woman LLC, a coaching business focused on helping working women find a balance in all aspects of their lives.

As of July 1st, Elizabeth Woike-Ganga will be taking over as President/CEO of BestSelf Behavioral Health.
