There are two big Buffalo residential projects up for review by the Buffalo Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.  Business First reports they are Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.’s West End 20-unit townhouse project in Waterfront Village and Uniland Development Co.’s Gates Circle project, which could see 12 townhouses constructed on the site of the former Park Lane restaurant.  Combined, the projects represent a private-sector investment of nearly $50 million.  The units are expected to sell for more than $1 million each.

Ignite Buffalo awarded $1 million in small business grants during its Facebook Community Boost event last night.  The $100K winners were: Oxford Pennant, Grooperative Inc and Get Fokus’d Productions - which was also the People's Choice Award.  Four groups received $50,000 grants while 20 others received $25,000 grants.
