Bank on Buffalo will begin construction of its new branch at 7121 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls this March.  Business First reports the new branch will replace the bank's temporary Niagara County branch in Wheatfield.  The new branch will be constructed on vacant land across the street from Tops Friendly Markets. 

The AAA has announced that eighteen hotels in the Western and Central New York region have been declared as Four Diamond hotels.  Those Western New York winners include Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel and Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, The Mansion on Delaware Avenue, The Westin Buffalo, Aurora Inn, Wallcourt Hall, Rowland House and E.B. Morgan House.  

Business First notes gourmet popcorn maker and retailer What’s Pop-In Gourmet Popcorn will open later this winter in a storefront at 418 West Ferry Street.  What’s Pop-In Gourmet Popcorn features more than 23 flavors.

Due to the recent government shutdown, the Commerce Department had postponed releasing reports on personal income and spending for December.  Those reports are due out today.
