UB spinoff Cytocybernetics has been awarded $1.5 million by the National Institutes of Health.  It's to develop an enhanced version of the Cybercyte - the company’s device that integrates electronics with heart muscle cells to test how new drugs affect the heart’s electrical activity.

Wegmans will open its next grocery store in Natick, Massachusetts in April.  Syracuse.com reports the store will feature a full-service Mexican restaurant and tequila bar.

NOCO Express ranked number ten on a top 10 list of gas station brands in the U-S.  NOCO cited specifically for its customer service.

The Arc Erie County New York, a leading not-for-profit health and human services agency supporting people with special needs, has named Emily Miller to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Michelle Urbanczyk has been hired as chief executive officer for the Explore & More Children's Museum, effective this February.
