Genesee County Considers Projects With Solar "Flair"

Canadian investment group Goldwynn Residential USA - through its affiliate Goldwynn Delsan Court LLC - has finalized the purchase of the Buffalo Townhomes at 527 Hertel Avenue for a reported $8.73 million.  Business First reports this is a continuation of Goldwynn Residential USA's acquisition of 18 properties that were part of the Kissling Interests LLC portfolio.

Tonight, the Genesee County Economic Development Center is considering accepting applications for assistance for five community solar projects from California-based Borrego Solar.  Three of the projects would be in the town of Batavia and the others in the town of Pembroke.  It's estimated that the five projects would generate $2.1 million in revenues to the municipalities and schools where the projects are located.

Perry’s Ice Cream recently made a donation of nearly $4000 to the Parkinson’s Foundation New York and New Jersey Chapter.

M&T Bank Corporation has named Aarthi Murali as the company’s first Chief Customer Experience Officer.

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative has awarded a $450,000 grant to The Champ Foundation to develop and launch a collaborative Pearson Syndrome Research Network.
