Governor Cuomo announcing that $3.1 million in infrastructure funding has been awarded to three airports in Western New York.  The Buffalo Niagara International Airport getting $1.5 million for parking facility enhancements.  Also benefiting will be Niagara Falls International Airport and the Chautauqua County-Jamestown Airport.

Amherst-based Empire Genomics has hired on new management.  According to Business first, Andy Watson is the new chief executive officer and Anthony Scarpello was named chief commercialization officer. 

Kaleida Health announcing some leadership changes.  Donald Boyd named executive vice president and chief operating officer.  Jonathan T. Swiatkowski, CPA, has been elevated to vice president of finance and strategic integration for the Great Lakes Health System of Western New York.  Michael P. Hughes, senior vice president and chief of staff, will now oversee business development for the organization.

HUNT Real Estate has promoted Jennifer Maxian to the position of Director of Career Development.
