Ecology & Environment To Be Bought Out

The Industrial Land Development Corp. voted unanimously Wednesday to approve a $1.05 million land purchase agreement for 28 acres on the former Bethlehem Steel site in Lackawanna.  TMP Technologies/Time Release Sciences, Inc. will be the first business to locate on a parcel being redeveloped by the ILDC into a state-of-the-art industrial business park.

Lancaster-based Ecology & Environment has agreed to be purchased by WSP Global Inc. of Montreal.  Business First reports WSP has agreed to pay $15 per outstanding share.  The company has 3.193 million shares.

Tonawanda-based Montante Solar is installing a solar roof array at Sahlen’s Sports Park in Elma.  The approximately 1,350 solar roof panels will produce approximately 490,000 kilowatt hours annually.  The system will support 100% of Sahlen’s Sports Park’s energy usage.   

Shoe brand Bass opens its new Bass Factory Outlet store at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, USA this morning at 10am.

Dr. Andrew J. Fabiano, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Oncology and Director of the Spinal Oncology Center at Roswell Park, has been named a North American Spine Society 20 Under 40 Spine Surgeon.  Dr. Fabiano has also been named by the American Board of Neurological Surgery as a guest examiner.
