USA Niagara Development Corporation's Board of Directors unanimously approved the acquisition of 32 individual properties totaling approximately 11 acres of land in downtown Niagara Falls.  The purchase of these properties is made possible through a strategic land acquisition program that is part of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Buffalo Billion Phase II.  Business First notes USA Niagara is allocating $27.005 million  with due diligence and insurance and other costs factored into the potential transaction.

Forty-eight Hodgson Russ attorneys have been selected by their peers for inclusion in various “Best Lawyers” listings.  Hodgson Russ is also pleased to announce four of its attorneys have been honored as 2019 “Lawyers of the Year.” 

Renovations at the Depew campus of the Cantalician Center can begin, thanks to a pair of grants.  The monies coming from the Russell J. Salvatore Foundation and through state Senator Tim Kennedy’s office.  

People Inc. has received a $100,000 grant from the Patrick P. Lee Foundation. The award will allow the agency, in collaboration with People Inc. affiliate the Elmwood Health Center, to integrate mental health counseling into its successful employment services.
