Local gas prices went up three cents last week.  The AAA puts the current Western New York average price at $2.72 per gallon of unleaded.  If it makes you feel better, the price was twenty-seven cents higher a year ago.

WS Development will begin demolition at the former Northtown Plaza in the next few weeks.  Business First reports buildings on the western end of the site will come down.  WS Development intends to build six buildings and a pocket park as part of what will be called Station Twelve.  That work is expected to be completed within a year.

Eberl Iron Works, Inc. will hold a ribbon-cutting at its new company headquarters on Wednesday, September 25th.  The event will be at 5:30pm at 124 Sycamore Street in Buffalo.
