Another week has brought another two cent drop in the cost of fuel in Western New York.  The AAA reports the current average is $2.69 for a gallon of unleaded.  A year ago the price was thirty cents higher.

Bank of Akron has received New York State permission to create a special banking district in the town of Wilson.  According to Business First, this "banking development district” program designates Wilson as an underbanked market, which means the community’s banking needs are not being met by existing financial institutions.  A Bank of Akron branch will open up at 638 Lake Street in mid-October.

The Warrior Factory Buffalo has opened at 4691 Transit Road in Clarence - just south of Sheridan Drive.  It's billed as a premiere American Ninja Warrior facility.

Tompkins Insurance Agencies has added an office in West Seneca.  The Batavia-based company also has locations in Amherst, Alden, Medina, Arcade, Attica and Warsaw.  

Sullivan’s Brewing Company, Ltd has named Michael A. Meade CEO of Sullivan’s Brewing Company - USA.

Sonwil Distribution Center has been named one of Food Logistics magazine’s “Top Third-Party Logistics and Cold Storage Providers.”
