The current average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Western New York region remains $2.65.  That price has held fast for the last three weeks, according to the AAA.  A year ago, a gallon of gas cost $2.98 locally.

Towne Automotive Group has begun work on its new Audi dealership.  Business First reports the new site at 6501 Transit Road in Lancaster is expected to be completed by next fall.  It's being built about one mile northwest of the current Audi Volkswagen dealership, but will enable the two brands to have their own separate locations.

Empire State Development is divvying up more than $1 million in federal and state funding to help connect New York businesses to exporting opportunities abroad.  The federal funding, provided by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is used for the State Trade Expansion Program, which offers grants to qualifying small and medium-sized businesses to increase the number of businesses entering the export market, and to increase the number of small businesses exploring new trade opportunities.
