Local gas prices have resumed their slide.  The AAA reports the current cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area is down a penny to $2.64.

Locally owned and operated retailer Free Agent has opened a location at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls.  Free Agent is a men’s and women’s retailer that carries apparel, shoes, and accessories by a variety of independent designers.  The store is inside Entrance 5, next to DAVIDs TEA.

A venture capital investment group from Plano, Texas has acquired the brand and development rights for Deep South Taco.  Business First reports that the name of the group was not disclosed.  Also not disclosed were the terms of the deal, which is expected to close as soon as this week.

For this Veterans Day, The Grapevine Restaurant is offering free entrees to all current military service members and veterans.  

Tops Friendly Markets has completed a $2.7 million dollar renovation project at its 4777 Transit Road-Depew store.  A ribbon-cutting is planned for this Wednesday at 11am.

Kenmore Mercy Hospital was recently honored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas as the 2019 Business of the Year during its annual awards dinner.
