The AAA puts the current price per gallon of unleaded gas in the Western New York region at $2.89.  That's up slightly from last week - and reflects a rise of eight cents per gallon over the last month.

The $13 million investment by Joe Dash on his new store begins to pay off this week.  That long-awaited Dash's Market opens at the corner of Hertel and Starin Avenues this Wednesday.  According to  Business First, the store includes a 32,000-square-foot grocery department on the main floor and a second floor that has seating, offices and a community meeting room.

Performance Rehabilitation Training has opened in North Tonawanda at 3571 Niagara Falls Blvd, Suite 9.  The Center provides a blend of fitness classes under the direction and instruction of a medical professional.

Global Concepts Charter School will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for its Green Space initiative on Thursday.  The school will take an unused portion of its property and turn it into a space with a nature park that also includes a playground, track and field track, an outdoor classroom, pavilions, concession stands a basketball court and two mini soccer fields.

Also this Thursday, Templeton Landing will hold a Grand Opening Deck Party from 5-9pm to kick off the summer season.
