Today’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $2.87, which is up six cents from one week ago.  The AAA notes the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region average price is $2.90, which is up three cents in the past week.

Under a new partnership, Niagara University will offer classes at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  These classes will enable registered nurses enrolled as students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

The annual U.S. Member Health Plan Study by J.D Power has been released.  Independent Health is the second highest ranked health insurance plan in the New York region - with a score that was sixth highest in the nation. 

The Vegan Educator has launched the Vegan Pop-Up Markets to bring vegan and vegan-friendly businesses together to promote their products and services and to show the vegan community what they have to offer.  The Markets are designed to provide a one-stop vegan shopping destination for its customers.  The first Market will be open on June 2nd at the Meals on Wheels in Buffalo.  For more information, go to www.theveganeducator.com.
