Local gas prices are up another three cents from last week.  The AAA puts the cost at $2.61 per gallon of unleaded in WNY.  The statewide average of $2.70 per gallon is up four cents from a week ago.

According to Business First, developer Nick Sinatra will likely make a bid for the Boulevard Mall.  Sinatra referencing his ability to tap into Opportunity Zone tax credits as part of the reason for his interest.  An online auction for the Boulevard Mall property will be held between April 1st and April 3rd.  Amherst officials are hopeful the mall will be transformed into a town center development - similar to Uniland Development Company's plans for the Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence.

Speaking of Uniland, it has purchased the former Lifetime Health building at 899 Main Street for a reported $4.335 million.  Business First notes no specific plans for the site have been announced.

EN Operations Acquisitions LLC, doing business as The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Delaware Park, is expected to gain ownership of the former Emerald North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center soon.  A final decision comes during a meeting this Thursday.

Justine Kaurich, RN, MBA, has joined Erie County Medical Center Corporation as Vice President of Operations.
