Gas Prices Make Significant Jump

Gas prices in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region shot up seven cents this past week, to an average of $2.58 for a gallon of unleaded.  The AAA reports the statewide average also increased by seven cents this week, to $2.66 per gallon of unleaded.

A local investment group has purchased the former Engine 18 building at 1032 Fillmore Avenue.  According to Business First, the plan is to convert the two-story firehouse into at least two apartments on the second floor and retail or commercial space on the first floor.

Through the NY Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the state has made cybersecurity funding available to Western New York manufacturers to strengthen their protections against data threats.  For more information about the program and to submit an application, follow this link.

R. Buford Sears, KeyBank's Buffalo Region Market President, will retire effective March 29th. 

Flora California Prime, parent company of Flora Buffalo, announced that Dasheeda Dawson will join the Flora team as president of the Flora Buffalo cannabis campus.
