Gas Prices More Than A Nickel

Local gas prices dropped by six cents this past week.  The AAA reporting that a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro area now costs $2.45 on average.  Gas prices have fallen eleven cents in the past month.

Mississippi Mudds has opened for its 34th season - but in light of the coronavirus crisis, it is limiting service to curbside pickup - with free delivery within a 2-mile radius of their location at 313 Niagara Street in the City of Tonawanda.  The dining room and rooftop tables will be closed for the foreseeable future.

President Trump's order barring travel to the U-S from 26 European countries for 30 days already having a major impact on the airline industry.  Shares of United Airlines and Delta Air Lines were off 20% and 17% respectively.  According to the New York Times, those countries under the order normally carry 125,000 travelers daily.  Projected over the 30 days, that would affect more than 6,700 flights, in each direction.  Delta operates 17% of those flights, with United operating 14%.
