Local gas prices continue to stay the course.  According to the AAA, the Buffalo-Niagara Falls average for a gallon of unleaded is still at $2.86 - the cost has been the same since the first of the month.

Amazon and Whole Foods Market are teaming up.  Prime members who spend $10 at Whole Foods Market in store or on Prime Now, will receive a $10 credit to use on Amazon for Prime Day.  This offer is available until July 16th.

Eastern Niagara Obstetrics and Gynecology has changed its name to General Physician, PC Women’s Health - Lockport.  The office will remain at its current location, 175 Walnut Street in Lockport.  The practice is also accepting new patients.

VA Western New York Healthcare System holds a ribbon-cutting tomorrow to celebrate the refurbishment of inpatient unit 5C.  The twenty-one bed unit includes updating finishes for better wear and tear, and maximizing staff efficiencies.

Schoellkopf Health Center, located on the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center campus, has been awarded a Five Star national quality rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on its Nursing Home Compare website.
