Local gas prices dropped another three cents this past week according to the AAA.  A gallon of unleaded now costs $2.57 in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro area.  

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York has a new partnership with WebMD Health Services to support the launch of a newly designed wellness website, MyBlueHealth.  MyBlueHealth offers enhanced digital wellness capabilities for the 169 employers in Western New York that utilize the health plan’s suite of wellness programs to engage their 85,000 employees.  Employers will now have the ability to offer incentives to their employees through BlueCross BlueShield’s wellness website for their participation and progress to positively drive their overall health. 

Post Acute Partners Acquisition LLC will pay $47 million for the Weinberg Campus, according to Business First - citing filings with the New York State Department of Health.   Specifically, the establishment committee of the Public Health and Health Planning Council will consider details of the acquisition plan at its January 24th meeting.

The Erie County Fair will expand its “I-Hub at the Fair” exhibit into a stand-alone, 6,000 square feet pavilion for the upcoming 180th Erie County Fair this August. “I-Hub at the Fair" debuted in 2018 to highlight Western New York’s growing STEM based economy and educational opportunities.
