Gas Prices Still Dropping

According to the AAA, the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region has dropped three cents from last week to $2.58.  That price is five cents higher than the price one year ago.

TM Montante Development has been designated by USA Niagara Development Corp. to redevelop some properties on Third Street in Niagara Falls.  Business First reports a single story building at 512 Third Street would be converted into a craft brewery.  A two-story structure at 500 Third Street would be converted into a mixed-use facility with a street-level restaurant and second floor offices.  The development plan also encompasses a surface lot at 503 Main Street and a vacant parcel at 518 Third Street.

West Seneca-based early childhood education and care center operator EduKids has been acquired by Busy Bees.  The Canadian concern now operates 34 centers in the U-S, along with 89 in Canada.  The sale closed on January 31st.  Financial terms were not made public.

Catalyst Fitness is planning a grand opening celebration for its seventh location February 14th, 15th, and 16th.  This new location is in the former Dick’s Sporting Goods site at 281 Meyer Road off Bowmart Parkway in Amherst.
