The AAA reports the price for an average gallon of unleaded in Western New York dropped four cents this past week to $2.68.  A year ago on this date we were paying six cents less than that - or $2.62 per gallon.

Back on November 26th, the city of Buffalo listed the former downtown police headquarters building on the real estate market. The asking price was $3 million.  Business First notes that the property has received a lot of interest.  Buffalo Office of Strategic Planning Executive Director Brendan Mehaffey saying both local and out-of-town investment groups have made inquiries about the building at 74 Franklin Street.

Business First reports that Delaware North has created a sports wagering online app.  However, the BetLucky.com service is only available in West Virginia - and is based out of Delaware North’s Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack complex in Wheeling and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort near Charleston.

Jessica Underberg, CEO & Fair Manager of the Erie County Agricultural Society, was recently elected as the 2019 Chair of the International Association of Fairs & Expositions.
