Tops Friendly Markets held a ribbon-cutting to mark the completion of a $2 million dollar renovation at its Ken-Ton store located at 1740 Sheridan Drive.  This is the fifth renovation in 2019 for the supermarket chain and is part of Tops’ $40 million dollar capital improvement program.

Referencing the FDIC’s 2019 deposit market share report, Business First reports that 23 banking institutions in Buffalo held a combined $52.21 billion in deposits on June 30th.  That figure is up 8.2 percent from June 30th of last year.  Buffalo-based M&T Bank is the dominant deposit-holder, with $29.98 billion in local deposits.

ROAR Logistics is holding a steel-beam “Topping-Off” ceremony at its new world headquarters building this morning.  That is happening at 1130am at 535 Exchange Street in Buffalo.

Daddy's Plants, a retail shop selling indoor house plants, is officially open at 1250 Niagara Street - in the same building as Resurgence Brewing Company.

BankOnBuffalo hosts its inaugural Technology Fair at this weekend’s Borderland Music + Arts Festival at Knox Farm State Park.  The Technology Fair will showcase innovative banking services and solutions that meet the shifting demands of today’s consumers, as well as the next-generation of account holders.
